The Duluth East volleyball team held its first official practice of the 2018 season Monday morning. First-year varsity head coach Nikoli Wiens, a varsity assistant for the past two seasons, takes over a highly-skilled and veteran Greyhounds team.

“We’re an older group that returns a lot of height and offensive firepower,” Wiens said at today’s practice.

“We have a strong group of seniors who like to compete, and they have the leadership skills to lead us to our full potential this season,” said junior middle hitter Macy Hermanson.
