Duluth Mayor Emily Larson, Marshall Jackson (MBJ Development Corp., developer for CityView Flats), Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, People’s Bank and other city officials will convene Thursday at 1:30 p.m. to break ground on a new $20 million 105-unit apartment complex located at 333 North West 1st Ave in the Duluth Central Hillside.
The vision of CityView Flats is to expand workforce housing in downtown Duluth offering contemporary apartments with high quality amenities, common areas and heated, secure parking.
CityView Flats is being developed by MBJ Development in collaboration with the City of Duluth and Minnesota Housing Authority.
Johnson Wilson Constructors is the contractor and the financing is through Peoples Bank Midwest.
